Urusama

Your data in Urusama.

This page explains what data the Urusama app stores, why, who helps process it, and how to delete it. Last updated 4 November 2026. The app itself is in Indonesian, so menu names are shown with the Indonesian label in parentheses.

In short

  • We store the household entries you type in yourself, so the two of you can see them and keep them in sync across your phones.
  • Urusama does not connect to banks or e-wallets, shows no ads, and does not sell data.
  • Private wallet entries are encrypted on your phone before they are sent, and your partner cannot open them.
  • You can delete your account at any time from Settings (Pengaturan) inside the app.

Who we are

Urusama is run by Ibnu Mobile Lab. For questions or requests about your data, contact us at ibnu.mobilelab@gmail.com.

Data we store

Account

You sign in with a Google account. We receive your email address and Google account ID to create your Urusama account. We do not receive your Google password.

Household content

Data that you or your partner enter into the app, namely:

  • the household name, each member's nickname, payday, and the Together or Solo mode;
  • shared budget categories, transactions (amount, category, note, date), savings goals, and debts and loans;
  • schedules, upkeep reminders, and shopping lists;
  • regular-shop contacts you add yourself: name, WhatsApp number, and a short note.

Private wallet

Private wallet entries are encrypted on your phone before they are sent, so the server only stores a scrambled version. The key that opens them is wrapped with your own 6-digit PIN. We do not store your PIN. This protection is designed so that your partner, and anyone who only obtains a copy of the database, cannot read them. Because the PIN is only 6 digits, we do not claim that it is impossible for the server operator to open them.

Choices at setup

Your answers in the first steps (what you most want to get in order, which features interest you) and your theme color choice. We use them to adjust how the app looks and to decide which features to build first.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Google Play. Your purchase status (trial, Resident, or First Resident) is recorded through RevenueCat and linked to your household ID. We do not receive your card number or payment details.

Crash reports

If the app stops unexpectedly, Firebase Crashlytics sends a crash report with the phone model, Android version, app version, and the part of the code that failed. We only use these reports to fix crashes.

What stays on your phone

  • A copy of the household data for offline use, kept in the app's storage.
  • Photos you choose for the home screen or a savings goal. We do not upload these photos.
  • Reminders and notifications, which are scheduled directly on the phone.
  • Data shown by the home screen widget, if you install it.

What we do not collect

  • Access to bank accounts, mobile banking, or e-wallets.
  • Location, phone contacts, or the contents of WhatsApp chats. The Order via WhatsApp (Pesan via WA) button only opens WhatsApp on your phone with the order text, and you press send yourself.
  • Data for advertising. Urusama shows no ads and does not sell data to anyone.

Who can see your data

  • Members of your household see all shared data: categories, shared transactions, schedules, shopping, goals, and debts and loans.
  • The contents of your private wallet only open on your phone with the PIN.
  • The service providers below process data on our behalf, only to run the app.

Service providers we use

Supabase
Database, sign-in, and sync. The servers are in Singapore.
Google
Sign in with Google, Google Play payments, and Firebase Crashlytics crash reports.
RevenueCat
Records purchase status and trial period.

Because the servers are in Singapore, your data is stored outside Indonesia.

Deleting your account and data

Open Settings (Pengaturan), then choose Delete account (Hapus akun). What happens next:

  • Your account and private wallet entries are permanently deleted.
  • If your household still has other members, the shared entries stay for your partner.
  • If you are the last member, the entire household is deleted too.

You can also leave the household without deleting your account. A feature for downloading a copy of your data is not available yet. Until it is, send a request to ibnu.mobilelab@gmail.com. If you can't open the app, follow the steps to request account deletion.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for access to your data, correct wrong data, delete data, and withdraw consent. Most of this can be done directly in the app. For anything else, contact ibnu.mobilelab@gmail.com.

Children

Urusama is made for adults who run a household, and is not meant for children.
